Lesson 5: Outer Planets, Jupiter, & Saturn. Bean is definitely enthused about space. It took her 20 minutes to watch a 6 minute video because she kept pausing it to write down bits of information in her notebook.
*We used Jupiter and the Outer Planets as the “spine” book for this section – pages 4-7 for an overview, pages 8-13 for Jupiter, and pages 14-19 for Saturn.
*We ended up not reading any additional books about Saturn because the other books I had were just lengthier rehashes.

Lesson 6: Uranus & Neptune. We did this chapter over the weekend. There really isn’t a lot to discuss about it other than we read books and watched videos. I’ve given up on finding related science experiments at the moment.
*We read pages 22-27 from Jupiter and the Outer Planets.
*We read pages 6-15 from Uranus, Neptune, and the Dwarf Planets.
